Umsuluzi means “the river which disappears” in Zulu, and is situated near Colenso, which is 2½ hours drive from Durban, Kwazulu Natal. There is no malaria in the area.
The experience includes the following: Learn to shoot safely with a large calibre hunting rifle Stalk and shoot an antelope Field dress your quarry, skin and prepare game for the table Other interests: Battle field tours (Anglo Boer War), bass fishing, game viewing, bird identification and night drives All under the guidance of local hunters and a professional hunter, Stuart Raeburn-Ward
Package includes 4 nights/5 days accommodation in a well appointed bush camp All meals and soft drinks (wine at dinner) One antelope (Impala or Blesbok) Transfers ex Durban/return Use of rifle plus cartridges Optional Extras Taxidermy Services Additional species to hunt (time permitting)
Cost: £600 per hunter or £500 per non hunter Deposits of £100 per person are due on booking.
